Information we collect
We collect the account, profile, application and business-registration information you choose to provide. Profile details include your name, parish, work preferences, and experience or work interests and strengths. Education and certificate names are optional profile details. Providing a street address is optional. We also receive basic technical and transaction details needed to operate, secure and improve the service.
How information is used
We use information to provide accounts, display jobs, process applications, verify businesses, manage payments, prevent misuse and communicate service-related updates.
Who can see it
Registered-business trading names, logos and the separately labelled public introductions are public, even when the business has no current vacancy. Basic vacancy teasers are also public. Private registration descriptions, addresses, phone numbers and registration numbers are not included in the business showcase. Full job descriptions and requirements are restricted to active members whose accounts are not suspended or closed, the owning business and Job Net administrators. A job seeker's application and relevant profile information are available to the business that owns the job and authorized Job Net administrators providing account support. Your street address is stored separately and is not shared with employers or displayed publicly. Identity-document uploads are not currently enabled and no ID is required to join or apply. Do not send ID images through the contact form or as ordinary email attachments. Business registration details are private and used for verification and administration.
Projects and your choice to share
A published Project shows the requester name and work brief, including the parish, required skill, budget if added and closing date. Drafts and requests awaiting review are visible only to the requester and Job Net administrators.
When you confirm interest, the requester receives a saved copy of the profile shown on the confirmation screen and your note. Your phone number is included only if you choose to share it. Email, street address and documents are not included. Later profile edits do not change this saved copy. Job Net keeps the confirmation time and version for its records.
Withdrawing removes the requester’s access to your response on Job Net. It cannot remove details already seen or saved elsewhere. Private Project messages are visible to the two people discussing the work and Job Net administrators. Withdrawing also removes the requester’s access to that conversation. You and Job Net administrators may retain the record for account support and disputes. WhatsApp alerts, video screening and certificate uploads are not connected.
Payments and service providers
Online payments are currently paused. Existing transaction records are retained for account support and record-keeping. Job Net does not receive or store your complete card or bank details. We also use hosting, authentication, database and business-email providers to operate the service. Necessary service messages may confirm applications, vacancy actions and membership activation. Support replies and delivery status are retained in the support history. Only Job Net administrators and the active agent assigned to a support case can review that case; agents do not receive owner-administration access. Customer email replies arrive in the business mailbox and are not automatically added to the website inbox.
Optional advertising measurement
We ask before loading Meta Pixel. If you allow measurement, Meta receives visits to selected public pages and an event when your business first submits completed details for verification. The registration event does not mean approval, payment or acceptance into an offer.
Meta may receive browser and device information, your IP address, page information and advertising cookie identifiers such as _fbp or _fbc. We do not include form answers, names, email addresses, phone numbers or business record identifiers in these events. Automatic advanced matching is disabled, and this integration does not send server-side conversion events.
We exclude private account pages, authentication and recovery pages, job searches, applications and support conversations from page tracking. On selected public pages after permission, a validated Meta click identifier (fbclid) may be sent to help measure visits from Meta links. Other query parameters, duplicate click identifiers, fragments and unsafe referrers are excluded. Measurement begins only after permission and does not send earlier activity.
You can allow, decline or withdraw permission using Advertising privacy choices at the bottom of every page. Your choice is stored for up to 90 days on this browser and website address; other browsers or website addresses require their own choice. Declining has no effect on registration or offers. Withdrawal stops future measurement and removes accessible Meta cookies; it does not recall information already sent to Meta.
See Meta’s Privacy Policy for how Meta handles information and privacy controls.
Your choices
You may update your profile in your account. You may also request access, correction or deletion of your information, subject to legal and operational record-keeping requirements. Account closure removes access but does not immediately erase transaction, application or moderation records needed for legal obligations or resolving disputes. Such records are kept only as long as needed for those purposes.
Contact
Questions, correction requests and privacy requests can be submitted securely through the Job Net contact form. Do not include passwords or payment-card details.
